Founderโs Table is a Global IRL Launchpad that brings carefully selected teams to pitch in front of the crowd and raise capital on the spot. Between Aug 18th - 22nd, we invite 7 teams to participate in the event. We hope that the event can serve as an opportunity for builders to present their valuation.

The largest exhibition venue in western Japan with a total exhibition area of 70,000sqm.
The Demoday will be held as a part of the World Blockchain Week. At the time, World Expo 2025 will be held with over 28 million visitors over the course of 6 months. During the week, we expect at least 50K visitors to come to the event.
Program Highlight - Show me the Money
We believe that the future will be built by the builders. However, there are not enough places where builders can pitch the identity and actually raise on the spot. For this reason, our demoday is not just another pitch fest but a stage where builders can actually raise capital on the spot. Hereโs how it works:

Recruitment: We select only 7 project for the full exposure. We take referrals from the partners very seriously. We only invite projects with working product or service. Projects are required to disclose the terms of offer (ex. Equity, Venture Debt, Revenue Share, Service Activation, etc) to be eligible.

Project Showdown: Terms and project descriptions are disclosed before the demoday for early entrance. Price of the offers are shown as โsharesโ which can be purchased by the supporters. The purchased amount will be locked in the escrow contract until the validators confirm that the terms are fulfilled.

Demoday: Projects are invited to the IRL stage in Osaka to pitch the project in full and recruit supporters. On the spot, supporters can purchase more shares by sending the amount using Fiat and Crypto.

Raise the Bar: Raising period continues till the end of the month. All purchased amount will be locked in the escrow contract until the proposed terms, in the form of milestones, are validated. Once the terms are delivered, amount will be sent to builders whereas the supporters receive the products and services based on the terms.

Requirement

All pitches will be delivered in English. All projects must prepare their materials in English

All projects must include at least some aspect of Web3 or plans for implementation. It could range from onchain asset issuance to data utilization. (e.g. Analytics tool)

All projects must be able to demonstrate some type of product and/or service that is working. It could mean not only a technical feature but also the user metrics (e.g. MAU / DAU), or sales metrics (e.g TVL, TXs)

Projects are recommended to solve a regular consumer facing problem beyond the incumbent Web3 developers and onchain asset traders. While we do appreciate the infra / trading based products, for the purpose of the demoday, we are looking for projects that appeals to wider audiences beyond Web3, preferably in the global market

Projects are recommended to be creative with how they pitch. As shown on the shark tank, offline pitch can be interactive with demonstrating the product and the brand.
